Compassionate Housing Assistance for Veterans

A 2015 report from the U.S Housing and Urban Development stated that over 47,000 veterans were homeless in the United States. Wondering why this wealthy country couldn’t do more for its heroes, these startling statics prompted 22 year veteran Tanja Simmons to take action. With a desire to help in her heart, Tanja would develop and launch the National Network Organization for Veterans (NNOV, Inc.).

NNOV, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to be an ongoing resource for displaced, homeless, and under privileged veterans and their families. Our mission is accomplished by providing affordable transitional housing, getting our veterans off the streets and out of shelters, and enriching their lives in general.

What We Do

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide affordable housing with adaptive services for displaced, homeless, and under privileged veterans and their families.

We understand how important it is to have a safe and comfortable place to sleep at night, which is why all NNOV, Inc. transitional living homes come fully furnished, along with internet service. Each project is renovated and decorated with the same time and attention that we would put into our own home, because that is what our veterans deserve.

A JOINT EFFORT

Through our community partnerships, we are able to provide housing for veterans around the state. Veterans in need of housing sign a 2-year lease with option to buy with us. We maintain the property providing general maintenance, lawn care, and snow removal.

A Personal Connection of Service to Veterans

We’ve heard the housing assistance cries from our fellow veterans, both in service and upon their return home.  In response, we offer them the opportunity to have a home of their own.  We understand that homeless veterans have many needs other than housing, such as mental health support.  If a veteran had PTSD or is suicidal, we can assist with securing professional consultation.
